The young English Setter wandered by the beach. She had just joined a pack and become a hunter for it. No one had said though that she needed to stay on packlands though, and so in a normal fit about making a decision, she had wandered along until she found herself on the beach looking out of over the water watching the sun move across the sky. Breaking from her trance, she looked down at the multi-colored fish and sighed. She'd prefer to hunt birds and small mammals, but she could fish if she wished. Slowly, the young female stepped into the water up to her ankles only to catch herself contemplating life and its twists and turns instead of hunting.
Shaking her head again, Chokra broke from her thoughts and looked down at the fish. "Hunt silly." She muttered at herself and began to walk slowly farther into the water. Coming to a standstill, she waited for the fish to begin to swim around her again. They dodged her as if she were some immovable being, little did they know that she would soon be removing some of them from existence. Slowly, she lowered her head and waited with her nose above the water for a certain one to come by.

Ah the beach, it was a wondrously boring place, at least, that is how he; Memoir, saw it. In fact, it was so boring he was constantly thinking about returning home and making Heartless play a little with him. She couldn't say no to him, for forever could she? He was gorgeous, after all. Who wouldn't want some of this? He was perfectly perfection. he moved easily among the sand, grinning to himself as he watched all the wild life around. Some, small animals, others the wild way the waves crashed agains the beach. It was all a dark fun society. He grinned, amusing himself, before continuing on along the beach, which is about when he saw her.
An english setter judging by the way she appeared. She was standing just a bit deeper than ankle deep water, staring down at the fish, and he grinned, moving forward slowly, and watching her. Someone felt like attempting to fish huh? now why would she do something as foolish as that? It was only a bunch of fish. He moved forward slowly, watching her lower her head, waiting for the right fish to swing by. It was a game of chance, as well as patience - this fishing. Personally, he liked hunting on land. Where he could sink his teeth into something . . . anything. He grinned, moving closer, and waiting until she made a move to catch a fish. Another wait while he went to see if it got away or was caught. As soon as the action was completed, and her fishing results were made evident did he jump into the water, splashing it everywhere, his dark fur, and wolfish grin marking him as a dark, foreigner; as well as someone looking to have some fun. So let's party.

Just as Chokra made the catch of the fish and crunched its little bones, she got the first hint of another. She swung up her head as he splashed into the water. What silly dog was running up on her? Her hips swung away and for a second she regarded him surely looking silly with a fish hanging out of her mouth. Tossing her head, she released the fish and let him fly onto the beach out of the waves where she could pick him up later.
"Can I help you?" Her tail hung low as she wasn't yet sure how to take this new dog. Chokra herself didn't generally run up onto others while they were hunting but she understood that not all had her manners.

There was something about not having to worry about others that could make you feel free - it was an experience that our boy - Memoir had quite often. You see, Memoir is from the gang that's beginning to really show it's head around these parts. The pack who is making sure that the command attention and fear. Because with fear comes power, and with attention comes recognition. And once they have those two things, everything else will slowly fall into place. Not that Memoir cared much about the power and attention, and what not. He only was part of the pack to flirt with the females and slaves, and to keep around his brother. Ah yes, the big reason why Memoir stayed where he did - the male named Ghost Whisperer, his big brother. Memoir adored his brother, constantly being around, showering him in wide eyed awe. That sort of thing, not that his brother always appreciated it, but hey 'it's the thought that counts' right? At least he tried to show how much he cared. But the same thing always was obvious - no matter who he was with, where he was, or what he was doing - at that was the smell of the Foreigner Pack on his pelt.
Which was why he was used to reactions like this. He grinned slightly, as he jumped into the water, it splashing around him, and half soaking the wolfdog's black coat. He shook of slightly, amused, as the female swung her hips away, while regarding him, the fish still hanging from her muzzle, before tossing the fish onto the beach, and away from the waves. Can I help you? He grinned, watching her, before shrugging, his gaze turning towards the water, as a fish swam with in swiping distances, and with rapid reflexes, he swiped it clear out of the water with his large paw, nails catching it's body, and flicking it onto the sand. "I dunno, can you?
" He grinned easily, amused with himself, " Name's Memoir, what about you gorgeous? Or are you going to refuse to give me your name, and make me stick with little pet names, hmm?" He shrugged, turning back to the beach, grinning, as moved to his fish and bumped it towards hers, offering it up, " Fishing isn't so hard - but never seen a dog do it with their mouth. Though, I suppose . . . to each their own?"[/blockquote]

Chokra watched the dog noticing that he smelled like a foreigner, but unlike the majority of her pack, Cho didn't make snap decisions about good and bad, though she was getting the vibe that this dog meant her no good. Keeping her eye on him, she loosened up a bit as she watched him fish with his paw. "My name is Chokra but you may call me Cho if you like." She didn't like the way he went on. Did he think the two of them could be friends? Okay, maybe, but he'd have to start acting less like a sleaze than he was now. Chokra didn't show any shame as he commented on her fishing method. "NO one ever taught me to fish, I tend toward birds and small mammals. Fishing was just a new experience." She flicked her wet ears back from her face and started out of the water.

He grinned slightly, watching the female keep an eye on him, but smirking slightly when she seemed to loosen up as he went fishing, My name is Chokra, but you may call me Cho if you like. He grinned, looking at her, "Pleasure to meet you then Cho." He said with a grin, half bowing in the water and suceeding in slipping over the rocks and causing a huge splash as he went under. He jumped back up and snorted slightly, "How about we return to the land, aye, Cho? I'm not partial to being completely wet, I could use with some sun to dry off, how about you?" He offered, leaping back towards the sand, and shaking off, from his head, down to his tail. No one ever taught me to fish, I tend towards birds and small mammals. Fishing was just a new experience.
He nodded then, grinning slightly, " In that case, well done. Not many can successfully fish their first few times." He stated, before grinning at winking at her, " But let me know if you'd like a teacher to help out, hmm?" Might as well be nice, eh?[/blockquote]

The young English Setter tried to keep her cool as he fell into the water, ducking her head slightly she hid a laugh. As he headed to land, she waited for a moment, and then headed to shore also. It wasn't like she was getting much done here anyway. "I suppose that works for me, though I am not nearly in bad shape as you." Moving fluidly, she jumped up on the shore and stood a few feet away from him.
As he complimented her, she felt weird about it. No one else had ever commented on her hunting, everyone just assumed that because she was bred for it, she was good at it. THat wasn't true, most of what Chokra had learned she had learned through trial and error. "Memoir, I'm in no need of a teacher, but thank you for offering." Dropping her head she picked up her fish.
