Trait after trait had been passed down, and now more and more 'wolves' were looking like dogs because of all the dog mixed in with them. Now, Alaska did not count, she was bred by human, but found her way into the wildlife, and stayed, after her mother's incident.
She was not the type to talk of her past, not the kind to feel better when talking and explaining how she felt, not the type to love and heal, no, Alaska had a heart if stone, solid rock... Until that one day comes, when she could find him.
But unfortunately, Alaska had been gushed and dumped so many times, she was beginning to unwind herself in the tangled webs of nothingness.
So scarred, and abused, she could do nothing but wait. And waiting had left tears on her cheeks... Which have never dried completely. She stills curses herself in letting her mother go, although it was not her fault at all.
It required patience, what Alaska needed, but this Siberian husky could never wait. Letting go of something meant loosing it forever-and she couldn't do that.
Would it?
Alaska was so confused. Joining A pack again meant giving things up, and Alaska wasn't ready for that.... Was she?
At the break if dawn, the husky set off to find herself-the pack a meal for this afternoon. She still was having trouble wih her way wound this territory, so she decided to take her party a little further, into her old lands. That would be trespassing, nugget, who cares. Right?
This was another thing Alaska had to associate. She was not by herself anymore, she had a pack to feed, and she was a member. But, she hadn't figured that out quite yet.
Sneaking quietly over a Hill, she spotted a group of deer/caribou, contently feasting on the grass and weeds. Her muscles rippled as she got done to pounce.... No, not literally, you see, her strategy was very different from most wolves and dogs. Come from the front quietly, therefore, they can not run forwards, because they'd run into her, which is just exactly what most of them did, stupid things.
As she continued on her way down, she noticed a small, weak baby one, which had drifted off a ways from the herd, a perfect opportunity, she had to grasp.
As soon as she was close enough, she sprang into action, heading at full speed towards this baby. It was too much for the poor thing to take. It fell down immediately after she had bitten deeply into it's neck a few times. Blood gasped everywhere, it as not the prettiest sight.
Carefully dragging her prey up towards her pack, Alaska was gettit egsausted from pulling it. Just when Alaska could pull no more, the sound of other wolves rang out. They were calling their pack together for hunting- and one of them had smelled Alaska.
Quickly remembering this was not her territory, the female quickly sprang back into action. She would not give up. Yet. Sh pulled and Yankee and jerked, and was finally in her pack's territory. She gasped out, realeaved that she was safe from the angular jaws of the rivalry pack. If she calculated right, in just a few hours, they would be over here, tattleing and snarling at her alpha.
Then, something occurred to her. Would they do it?
To Alaska it was just some stupid pack upset because she had been in their territory, but, no one had proof that she took anything, so ha!
Alaska was brilliant. Right?

The scent of a freshly killed animal seemed to drift endlessly through the air and in through broken windows of the abandoned asylum. Deep inside the practically destroyed building, a sleeping bundle of ebony and ivory lay nestled in one of the darkened rooms. Normally, the male would be out prowling his island and protecting his pack, but he had needed a small rest. The scent drifted into the room and caused the male to slowly wake up. Blinking his eyes, he gazed around the room. The unique light blue of his eyes seemed to shine with happiness, as he remembered everything that had happen in the past few days. He gained a pack and quite a few new canines had joined. Stretching, he clambered onto all four paws before leaping silently off of the small bed. Making his way slowly to the door of the room, he nosed it open before stepping into the barely lit hallway. The sound of his claws clicking upon the metallic floor echoed in the building, bouncing off of each and every wall. Silently, the male made his way to the front doors of the asylum and pushed them open before stepping out into the sunlight. The light quickly reflecting off of the spiked collar around his neck.
Lifting his nose towards the sky, he inhaled a breath of air. The scent of fresh death still lingered in the air along with the scent of rival canines. A low growl rumbled deep within his chest, before he leapt into a run towards the scents of the kill and the canines. The sun shined brightly down upon his coat, reflecting off of the spiked collar and the white of his coat, but heating up the black of his coat; before he made his way into the shadows of the forests. A few twigs snapped beneath his paws as he made his way deeper into the darkness. Light seemed to shine down in odd places within the forest, but it never distracted the male from his course. With ease, he slowed to a silent walk, careful of his footing. Still in silence, he made his way to where the female and her kill were. Raising his head, he stepped out of the darkness and glanced toward the female, before moving towards her. Though, he didn't move close enough that she could snap at him if she wanted. "Hello ma'am," the baritone voice of the male vibrated from his throat, as he watched the female before him.

Alaska
Hearing a dog approaching her, Alaska let out a growl and lifted her head up quickly warning and showing the dog she could handle it. Then, noticing it was her alpha, she flattened her ears and immediately submitted. "Er..uh..sorry, alpha." she looked a bit embarrassed as she pushed her kill close to him. Her icy blue eyes looked back up to him with fear. She had just blown it.... her first night, and she had another pack searching for her, and an alpha..well, he looked like he just woke up. He had a funny necklace thing around his neck with silver spikes. She blinked several times to get adjusted to the brightness reflected on it.
"So..uh...I guess your gonna kick me out now, huh? Since..since..." Alaska quickly cut herself off when she saw his confused expression. "Uh..I mean...never mind. So, where should I put this, alpha?" she asked, hoping that he would not question her further about he words. She pinned her ears back and looked up guiltily, her connections with the pack could snap at any moment, for the fae's stupidity in her choice of words. She blinked tears back from the brightness of the reflection, water seeping into her eyelids. She could barely hold it in, but she knew disrespect was the tiniest thing she could show to her alpha. Water was needed.... Alaska quickly turned away from his eye contact, refreshing her face from the light which was burning. She stood up, protecting her prey, a sudden instinct formed by wolves and dog alone.

Slowing at the sound of a growl, Avalanche glanced toward the female. Though, when she seemed to notice it was him, she quickly submitted. 'Er..uh..sorry, alpha.' His ears perked at the sound of her voice, as he listened to her words. Glancing down, he watched as she pushed her kill close to him and he tilted his head slightly sideways. He could see the fear in her eyes when she looked up at him. "Don't worry," he forgave her. 'So..uh...I guess your gonna kick me out now, huh? Since..since...' He noticed how she cut her own words off. 'Uh..I mean...nevermind. So, where should I put this, alpha?' The curiosity to question her about her first question almost overpowered him, but he decided against it. He noticed as her ears fell back on her skull and she looked up guiltily at him. The guilt on her face was clear. When he saw her eyes starting to water, whether from wanting to cry or from the brightness of the sun reflecting from his collar, he slowly stepped into the shadows, stopping the sun's reflection on his collar. "Feel free to eat. I'll send out a hunting team later to feed the rest of the pack," he responded to her question. Though, he quickly noticed the way she stood up and moved to protect her prey, which caused him to raise an eyebrow. Tilting his head, he cleared his throat, "I hope you are not going to disrespect me, ma'am. I do not tolerate disrespect in my pack," he warned, as his ears slowly started to lower to his skull.

other's speaking ¢¼ wandering ¢¼ speaking ¢¼ thinking Alaska cocked her head, quite interested by the way this brute informed her. Embarrased, Alaska surrendered to her alpha, tail shivering between her legs. Ugh. She hated tbis symbol of respect. It meant she was lower and not good enough. Alaska was intense on making sure she was in control, but her controling personality would have to wait. I hope your are not showing disrespect to me, ma'am. We do not tolerate that in my pack. |
she gently nodded, keeping shut untilmgiven permission to open her maw. The big mouth of hers was already causing trouble, Alaska cursed herself silently, her eyes submissively repenting to the older male. Disgusting. Alaska was more worried about what lie before them, little did he know there was a pack of angry dogs chasing her, claiming she had stolen from them. Give me a break. "Course not alpha. But, in tbis question i hope shows no disrespect either; may I ask, why do you use 'ma'am' when talkin to dogs below your highest rank? They are to be loyal and respectful to you, and no other." she asked, hoping no disrespect was shown to him. If so, it could be threatening and Alaska would be forced to move out. table (c) to dino [/blockquote]
