[atrb=cellpadding,2,true][bg=#000000][atrb=cellspacing,2,true][atrb=width,350,true] The young collie trotted through the sand; her lovely long tail waving proudly in the air. Her sleek, narrow head was set low to the ground in order to pick up scents of others nearby. The light, gentle breeze blew by and tossed the sand around. Her gold-tinted eyes scanned the vast horizon ahead of her. It was a very beautiful desert. As she made her way through the mounds of sand her mind was focused on only one thing: her past. It was a little dizzying to think of all that had happened to her up until then. The memories of the deaths of her parents and her loyal sister Cherry returned to her mind as she thought over the events of her past. It made her shiver just at the thought of a slow death in water and at the idea of flames taking your life. Why did it have to all happen to just one family? There was far too much misfortune in her past, she held back the approaching tears as she confirmed this in her mind. Whiskey then moistened her black nose with her soft, pink tongue to sharpen her sense of smell. There was something nearby. What would another creature possibly be doing in an empty desert? Her eyes narrowed before she looked around for anything, or anybody, that could be nearby. "Anybody out there?" she called out in a worn, raspy voice.

they call her love, love, love, love, love Karma had been walking around for what seemed like hours, she had been walking in a nice field of flowers then it quickly changed it was still beautiful so she had continued on her way. There were bones of other dogs, her nose twitched and she got some sand in her nose. She ran her paws over her face and blew out through her nose trying to get the sand out; when she did she was happy. She had to remind herself not to put her face too close to the ground, as she continued to make it around the bones she noticed little piles of sand.
She moved behind the piles trying to see if anything was there, and there was. A little field mouse that seemed to be lost, securing around trying to remember where it had came from. She came closer to it but it noticed her and ran away from her. Hey, don’t run away. I won’t hurt you. She told the little mouse but it didn’t speak her language. She was right behind it, trying to keep up with it but it didn’t want to slow down anytime soon. Come back here. She was getting a little frustrated with the little mouse but kept going after it. It had finally stopped and she got a smile, laughing a bit.
Then the little mouse jumped into a small snake hole as soon as she got close to it. Oh come on. I wasn’t even gonna hurt you, I was going to bring you back to the field. She grumbled looking down the hole and looked up. Now she was lost, well sort of she would just smell her path back but she was only trying to help the little guy but then she was frighten by a voice that came out. What was that? She mumbled to herself and hid behind a pile of sand.
